Support Ecosystem is the community of people associated with Brhaddhvani who realized the value we add to the society through research, documentation, pedagogy, publications and recordings-all connected with a non-profit mind set, willing to give, serve and share. It is because of the philanthropy of people such as Dr. Seetha, K.J. Seetharaman, N. Padmanabhan, S. Viswanathan, R. Sivaramakrishnan, N. Kumar, R. Seshasayee, N.R. Bhuvaragan, G.T Sastri, Dr. Sreepada Pinakapani, Semmangudi Srinivasa Iyer, K.V. Narayanaswami, Lalgudi Jayaraman, T. Viswanathan and many other greats in music and industry, who have valued the vision and work of Brhaddhvani in its formative years, Brhaddhvani stands out today with pride in its music history and people associated with it.

Of the individuals who are visionaries in support of Art and education Brhaddhvani owes its existence to the intelligence, mind and heart of a theatre personality, Mr. Anmol Vellani who, as part of The Ford Foundation in the nineties, was primarily responsible for the three successive grants from The Ford Foundation and later a sustenance grant from the organisation he founded-The India Foundation for the Arts. Another individual who valued Brhaddhvani, on his own (without asking) was, Mr. Ramanan Raghavendran, co-founder of Impact Partners (now managing partner at Kubera), the first Indian venture philanthropy fund provider to non-profit ventures in India, who generously granted funds to Brhaddhvani. Recognizing its contributions in classical music, The Government of India has also supported Brhaddhvani with a grant towards teacher’s training.

We see great value in people who support us with mind and heart in Arts and education in the creation of a better world towards harmony and peace.
